Give — Over 90% of Bootstrap’s revenue comes from gifts from individuals, faith communities and civic groups from the U.S, and Canada, Europe, and Asia. Click on “Give” to learn how you can help with this important work.
Sponsorships — Over 70% of the funds Bootstrap provides to run the MaaSAE Girl’s Lutheran Secondary School comes from student sponsorships. As a Bootstrap sponsor you help provide a young Maasai woman with the physical, emotional and educational support she needs to be safe, well, and successful. Your gift helps provide room and board, school uniforms and supplies, a supportive education, and the guidance necessary to help her build a new future for herself, her family and her community.
- Sponsor - $900 per year provides a young woman with a full year’s room, board, fees, books, supplies and uniform, giving her an education she would otherwise not receive.
- Co-sponsor - $450 per year. You may share a sponsorship with a friend for $450 each.
- Benefactor - You may designate a gift of any size to MaaSae Girls Lutheran Secondary School, (MGLSS), towards operation of the school or a special project.
In return for your sponsorship, you will receive a photo and profile of your student, periodic letters from her, and the knowledge that you are providing a young woman with the priceless gift of an education. Bootstrap schedules mission tours to the Girls School and other program sites concurrent with graduation ceremonies. As a sponsor you may attend graduation and watch your student complete her education.

Helping Where Needed Most — Unrestricted gifts, of any amount, help us get educational resources to where they are needed most. These gifts help us meet emerging needs and the needs of lesser-known programs.

Advocate — People from throughout the U.S. provide critical advocacy for Bootstrap, organizing charity walks and other fund raisers; spreading the word about Bootstrap’s work and organizing faith communities, civic groups and others to help this important grass-roots effort.
